City jobs market on course for a turnaround

The post-Brexit decline in City hiring is slowing, according to the latest report from recruiter Morgan McKinley, with steady growth in recruitment activity predicted for the rest of the year.

Job vacancies in April were down 26% year-on-year, with the number of those looking for work falling 25%. This compares with drops of 36% and 44%, respectively, in Morgan McKinley’s March London Employment Monitor.
