City of London commits £70k to social mobility drive

The City of London Corporation is funding an initiative encouraging companies in the Square Mile to recruit from a wider range of socio-economic backgrounds.

The London borough, which houses most of the capital’s financial services, has committed £70,000 to the Social Mobility Employers’ Index launched by the UK government’s Social Mobility Commission.
