Unhappy, insecure, overworked: Surge of City discontent exposed

Morale has fallen sharply across financial services in the past 12 months, with staff feeling less secure in their jobs and taking a bleaker view of the industry’s prospects, according to the results of Financial News’ 2015 Job Satisfaction Survey.

A poll of more than 350 financial sector employees, mostly working in London, found a little less than 9% considered their jobs to be very secure - a sharp fall from 17% a year ago.
