Under Sir Keir Starmer, the Labour Party has ended 14 years of Conservative rule with a landslide victory in the UK general election.

Markets appear to have priced in the Labour victory, which was widely expected, with Rishi Sunak’s Conservative Party lagging in the polls for months preceding the 4 July contest.
