Lee Hodgkinson, chief executive of trading company OSTC, has become the chair of a data-engineering outfit with roots at the University of Cambridge.

BMLL, which hosts historical data for electronically traded securities, has hired Hodgkinson in a non-executive capacity, it said on October 3. BMLL’s team includes Simon Godsill, professor of statistical signal processing at Cambridge.
