City workers join NHS on the front lines of the fight against Covid-19

Rob Lee is now used to falling asleep to the whirring of 3D printers in his garage — they are part of his 24-hour, home-made production line to make face masks for Britain’s National Health Service. 

Lee, a project manager at Nomura in London, does his day job with a webcam pop-out in the corner of his computer screen to monitor the printers. They break down regularly.
