City’s top Brussels envoy nervous over Brexit transition terms

The City of London's top envoy to Brussels is worried that Brexit talks could “sour to an even greater degree” if European negotiators seek onerous terms for securing a crucial transition deal.

Speaking at an event co-hosted by Financial News and Università Bocconi last night, Jeremy Browne said he was nervous that the European Union would push to include difficult terms because it knows how important securing a transition into Brexit is for the UK.
