An iconic Aston Martin, driven by some of the great racing car drives of the 1950s, is being put up for sale by Bonhams and racing car is expected to sell for more than $500,000.

The 1950 Aston Martin DB2 Team Car with the registration number "VMF 65" will come under the hammer in May in the only auction in the world solely dedicated to the sale of the iconic marque. The auction will take place at Aston Martin's plant in Newport Pagnell.
