International law firm Clifford Chance has been successful in winning lucrative advisory work in the UK private equity arena, and this week emerged as the adviser on two big deals.

Adam Signy, a partner in the corporate department, led the Clifford Chance team advising Bourne Leisure and its private equity backers, Candover and Legal & General Ventures, on its £700m (€1.16bn) consortium buy-out of Rank's UK holiday division.
