Close Brothers Corporate Finance, the mid-market adviser, has set up a local presence in Switzerland by forming a strategic alliance with The Corporate Finance Group of Switzerland.

Close Brothers has worked on Swiss deals out of London, but the move gives the corporate finance operation a base in Switzerland for the first time. The Corporate Finance Group, a Swiss mid-market boutique, was formed in 2000 by a group of former Ernst & Young corporate financiers. It is now a 20-strong team focusing on mergers and acquisitions and financing deals.
