Credit Lyonnais Securities Asia has hired Richard Witts, a former general manager of the Hong Kong stock exchange and former Jardine Fleming group executive, as director of its private client equity sales team.

Witts, who until recently ran a local Hong Kong brokerage, United Mok Yiong Kie, for nine years, joins CLSA less than two months after Jim Walker was rehired in August.
