It is Britain’s first-ever crypto competition claim – and former watchdog chief Lord David Currie has seen few cases quite like it.

Binance and three other crypto exchanges, Kraken, Bittylicious and Shapeshift, are accused of colluding to delist the cryptocurrency BSV back in 2019. Lord David Currie is suing them for nearly £9.9bn in damages to investors, who lost out when BSV’s value fell afterwards.
