Decision to appoint Boston Consulting Group, the competition watchdog chair’s former firm, has left staff in limbo over bonuses for longer

The Competition and Markets Authority has delayed an overhaul to how it pays staff again, amid a decision to replace the previous consultants on the project with its chair’s former firm and up its budget.

A new bonus structure was due to be in place in April. That was then pushed back to October, and has still not been put in place.
