International Financial Data Services (IFDS), the State Street and DST International joint venture international transfer agency, has appointed Jim Clark head of European business development.

Clark joins IFDS from Cogent Investment Operations, the investment operations outsourcing company acquired earlier this year by BNP Paribas Securities Services, where he was head of sales and relationship management for the company's European business for two years. He previously worked as a regional sales and relationship manager for Paribas Securities Services based in Paris.
