Coller Capital buys Connecticut portfolio

Coller Capital has bought stakes in several private equity funds from the State of Connecticut Retirement Plans & Trust Funds, in one of the largest sales of its kind by a US pension fund.

A source close to Coller, which is a secondary private equity fund, said the purchase took place earlier this year, but it did not disclose the sum it paid. The Camelot Group, a private equity advisory service, acted as a strategic adviser to Connecticut.
