Coller warns industry may be 'damaged' by legislation

Europe's private equity industry may be in jeopardy as politicians draft legislation to impose higher taxes and increase the regulatory burden on companies, according to Jeremy Coller, founder of Coller Capital.

Speaking at the annual dinner of the European Private Equity and Venture Capital Association in Monte Carlo, Coller said: "Private equity could be damaged by politics and ill-thought legislation."
