The wealth management division of Collins Stewart said outflows were £100m last year as total assets under management fell to £4.9bn from £6.1bn in 2007.

Despite the pressure on AUMs, operating profits managed to remain robust last year, slipping by just £1.3m to £10.5m. Revenues were £47m, compared with £46.8m in 2007.
