Columbia Strategy loses half its team to Morning Street

Four executives from Columbia Strategy, a US private equity research firm, have left to form Morning Street Capital and start raising a $100m (€82.8m) fund for secondary buyouts.

A source close to the situation said the four - representing half the top executives - include one of the two Columbia managing partners, believed to be Paul Misir, the firm's co-founder .
