Columbia Threadneedle, Northern Trust, and JPMorgan Asset Management are among the major asset managers yet to sign the UK’s influential stewardship code — the second time in six months they have not appeared on the list.

The code, which is overseen by audit regulator the Financial Reporting Council, demands asset managers, asset owners and service providers that are signed up to demonstrate to investors how they engage with companies to hold them to account.
