Columbia Threadneedle recruits Lawrence for Arabia role

Columbia Threadneedle hires former Franklin Templeton Investments director to run its Middle East division

Columbia Threadneedle has hired a director from Franklin Templeton Investments to run its Middle East operations, as the £379bn fund manager marks its 10th anniversary in the region.

The global asset manager has recruited Edwin Lawrence for the role. He will be in charge of client relationships and will oversee all global equities, fixed income and alternatives products in the Middle East.
