The Investment Association, the trade body representing the UK’s £7tn fund industry, has named Mark Burgess as the chair of its investment committee.

Burgess, who is chief investment officer for Europe, the Middle East and Africa at Columbia Threadneedle Investments, will oversee his first committee meeting on November 20.
