The US media giant Comcast has called in some of the UK's best-known investment bankers to advise on a £22bn offer for the broadcaster Sky.
The bid rivals a roughly £19bn proposal for Sky tabled by Rupert Murdoch's 21st Century Fox in late 2016 — a deal that has been held up amid scrutiny from antitrust regulators.
