James Bond has become the most valuable movie franchise in the world by spinning entertaining plot twists around a basic theme, which involves villains threatening world order and governments placing faith in Bond's ability to deal with the threat. As the financial crisis continues to drag on, there is finally evidence that governments are pulling together to recreate its own world order, while, yesterday, the UK pushed forward its regulatory equivalent to 007– Lord Adair Turner.
