Commerzbank Securities has strengthened its equity research teams with the appointment of six analysts including Marc Booty, formerly head of European pharmaceuticals with ABN Amro.

Booty will co-head ComSec's pharmaceuticals group with Mark Clark. Prior to joining ABN Amro in 1999, Booty was a pharmaceuticals analyst at Crédit Lyonnais Securities and spent five years as a fund mamager at Barings Asset Management covering the pharmaceurtical and heathcare sectors.
