Commerzbank cuts investment banking jobs

Commerzbank Securities has begun cutting 20% of its workforce as part of previously announced plans to reduce costs at the investment bank.

The lay-offs include approximately 300 front-office staff. The bank is also cutting 150 back-office staff who are part of parent Commerzbank AG.
