Commerzbank reports €2.9bn loss due to impairments and restructuring bills

Commerzbank has been weighed down by restructuring costs and impairments, resulting in a loss of nearly €2.9bn for 2020.

The German bank reported a profit of €585m in the previous year and confirmed its plan to cut around 10,000 jobs and shut down hundreds of branches will continue.
