Intermediate Capital Group (ICG), the European mezzanine fund provider, has hired Matrin Kolhaussen, chairman of the supervisory board of Commerzbank, as a non-executive director.

Kolhaussen, who was chairman of Commerzbank's board of managing directors until 2001, will remain in his role at the bank. He is on the supervisory boards of several other German companies including Bayer, Schering and Thyssen Krupp.
