Commonfund, the investment manager, has announced three promotions and two additions to Commonfund Capital, its wholly owned subsidiary investing in global private equity, venture capital and natural resources.

Leenong Li has been promoted to managing director. He heads Commonfund Capital's Beijing office and Asian initiatives. Managing director Mark Hoeing, who has led the firm's London office since 2009, now has the added title of head of Europe. Managing Director Brijesh Jeevarathnam is now co-head of venture capital.
