A Competition and Markets Authority staffer has written to their MP and the chair of the public accounts committee raising concerns over how the watchdog has been managing its finances.
In the letter, which has been seen by Financial News, the staffer says they are “shocked” at how the antitrust regulator has been spending its budget and asks the parliamentarians to take “a proper look at what’s going on”.
