The Competition and Markets Authority is planning to overhaul how its staff are paid, according to an internal note seen by Financial News, after criticism that its previous bonus structure discriminated against minority staff.

The antitrust regulator plans to move to a nomination-based system and away from performance grading, according to an intranet post by the Public and Commercial Services Union, which represents staff there.
