Convergex, the agency brokerage headquartered in New York, is to merge its US options business with trading technology provider Dash Financial.

The deal will combine Convergex’s LiquidPoint business with Dash, according to a January 4 statement outlining the agreement, to create an independent firm called Dash Financial Technologies.
