After its shares peaked at more than seven times flotation price, Kingston Communications enjoyed a honeymoon with the FTSE 100 and still aims to get back in

Kingston Communications, the UK telecoms operator, may be a newcomer to the stock market, but in its first year as a listed company it has already experienced the heady heights of the FTSE 100 Index - and fallen out of it.

Within nine months of its flotation, its share price had risen more than sevenfold and propelled Kingston into the FTSE 100.
