New figures reveal the scale of the fee bonanza enjoyed by investment banks as companies flock to raise money in the capital markets to cope with the coronavirus crisis — with London’s bankers enjoying their highest quarterly payout in nearly five years.

London-listed companies accounted for over 80% of all coronavirus-fuelled emergency fundraising in the first half of 2020, spurring bumper revenuves for banks’ UK equity capital markets teams.
