Corven, the UK-based consulting and corporate venturing company, has hired Richard Young as a director in its ventures team, continuing its preparation for the launch of its first fund.

Young joins Jeremy Stone, who joined the firm earlier this month as head of the ventures team. Young will head up Corven's investment committee, which decides in which businesses to invest, as well as being responsible for managing the investment team.
