Coutts' decision to cut ties with former UKIP leader Nigel Farage was lawful, a review by a law firm into the saga has found.

The NatWest-owned private bank decided to 'de-bank' the controversial politician in the summer, citing both commercial factors including that his mortgage was coming to an end, but also expressed discomfort with his views on issues such as immigration.
