Coutts hires for consulting push

The UK private bank has hired three investment consultants and it forges ahead with plans to offer clients with an extra layer of expertise in difficult markets

Coutts & Co has appointed a trio of senior consultants as the UK wealth manager pushes ahead with chief executive Michael Morley's plan of providing clients with investment advice as well as traditional private banking services.

Coutts, owned by The Royal Bank of Scotland, has appointed investment consultants Donna Airey, Francesca Cherubini-Stoughton and Glyn Thomas to newly-created roles.
