Cowen Group has hired Timothy Lufkin as managing director in the industrials investment banking group. Lufkin will be based in New York and report to Jeff Porphy, the firm's head of industrials and financial sponsors. He was most recently at FBR Capital Markets where he was a managing director responsible for launching a new business focusing on both buyside and sellside M&A and public and private capital.
