UK hedge fund manager CQS has hired a marketing veteran to lead its US office, in an attempt to increase substantially its existing client base in North America.

Jeffrey Lindenbaum has joined as head of CQS's US office, and chief executive and chief compliance officer of CQS (US). He will be responsible for business development and expanding CQS's North American marketing and investor relations team.
