Crédit Agricole Indosuez, the French investment bank, has approached staff at Charterhouse as part of plans for an expansion of Cheuvreux, its broking arm, in London.

CAI Cheuvreux focuses on France, but has broking operations across Europe. There is a glaring gap in the UK where its only broking presence is through CAI Cheuvreux Nordic, which specialises in Scandinavia.
