Crédit Agricole boosts Spanish presence with new fund arm

Crédit Agricole Asset Management has reorganised its Spanish subsidiary with the creation of a new distribution arm for mutual funds.

The new entity will complement the firm's existing asset management company, Indosuez Fondos. Both companies are already registered with the CNMV, the Spanish financial regulatory authority. Crédit Agricole has been present in Spain since 1993 managing assets for institutional clients including insurance companies, pension funds and banks.
