Shake-up at the top of the French group’s investment bank after Jean-Yves Hocher announces retirement

Crédit Agricole picks Santander executive to run investment bank

France’s Crédit Agricole has turned to a senior executive from Santander to lead its investment bank, as part of several changes at the top of the business.

Jean-Yves Hocher will retire as chief executive of Crédit Agricole's Corporate and Investment Bank later this year, the bank said. He will be replaced by Jacques Ripoll, who will join in September.
