Crédit Agricole enjoys DCM boost

The French bank's capital markets and investment banking unit posts a 23% rise in revenues during the second quarter

Crédit Agricole has posted a strong set of results for its debt-focused capital markets and investment banking unit.

Revenues from capital markets and investment banking - a unit within the bank's corporate and investment banking division - jumped more than 23% year-on-year to €542 million during the second quarter. Net profits were two-and-a-half times those in the second quarter of 2012 at €71 million.
