Crédit Agricole takes stake in London blockchain startup

French bank Crédit Agricole has made its first equity investment in a fintech company by backing the London-based blockchain startup founded by the former Chi-X boss Peter Randall.

Crédit Agricole's corporate and investment bank said in a statement today that it had taken part in a private fundraising by Setl, which was founded in July 2015. No financial details were provided.
