The woman who triggered a serious sexual assault investigation at Credit Suisse has accused the Swiss bank of lying to her, the press and the public about the action it took against a male employee previously suspected of hampering the probe into her allegations.
The woman, who was allegedly assaulted by a senior colleague in 2010, was last year told by a high-ranking compliance officer at Credit Suisse that the bank had fired the male executive following findings of misconduct. The woman has evidence of this conversation, which has been reviewed by Financial News.
