Credit Suisse Asset Management has appointed Joseph Gallagher as interim chief executive officer for Europe, outside Switzerland.

Gallagher is currently chief financial officer. He takes over from Steen Steincke who becomes managing director, senior advisor, working on special projects until the end of the year, when he leaves the firm.
