UBS is aiming to close its emergency acquisition of its Paradeplatz rival by the end of May, but for many anxious Credit Suisse dealmakers, this may be too long to wait.

A steady stream of dealmakers from Credit Suisse in recent weeks is gathering pace as UBS rushes to secure regulatory approval for its $3.2bn shotgun marriage pushed through at the behest of the Swiss government.
