Top executives at Credit Suisse saw their combined compensation surge by half to more than Sfr150m (€92.6m) last year, when the Swiss group's net profits roughly doubled.

Credit Suisse shelled out Sfr151.4m in salary and cash and share bonuses to its eight-strong group executive board last year, according to the bank's annual report published today.
