Credit Suisse said it faces a possible judgment against it of $680m in a US residential mortgage-backed securities case.

The Swiss bank said a US judge had asked both divisions in the bank to issue estimates of damages “which could result in a judgment against Credit Suisse of up to approximately $680m,” the bank said in a statement.
