The head of Credit Suisse’s financial institutions group is set to relocate from New York to Hong Kong, becoming the first global chief of a business group at the Swiss bank to be based in Asia.

Vikram Gandhi will continue to oversee Credit Suisse’s FIG business in the Americas, but according to a memo will spend “considerably more time” in Asia and Europe following his move to Hong Kong.
