With 65 investments under their belts, Alan Freudenstein and Greg Grimaldi, the co-heads of Credit Suisse’s Fintech investment fund, can safely claim to know a thing or two about backing financial technology companies.

For the past 15 years the duo have been leading the Swiss bank's investments in financial technology, first from within the investment bank, and now through the group's fintech fund, Credit Suisse Next Investors, comprising mostly third-party capital.
